River Ribble Ramble - 6th October 2019
A beautiful Countryfile Children in Need ramble starting and ending in Freckleton, taking in the stunning Lancashire Coastal Way, banks of the River Ribble and historic BAE Systems at Warton. The Ranger Service, along with a bit of help from Pudsey, will lead the flat 3 mile walk for all ages and abilities. Freckleton Estuary Clean - 2019 dates
Join a group of local volunteers to help remove litter from the estuary and stop it reaching the sea. All clean ups are from 10 am - 12 pm, meeting at the bottom of Pool Lane by the path onto the estuary. <Estuary Clean dates for 2019>

Public Spaces Protection Orders for Dog Control
Further to the Fylde Council Consultation on Public Spaces Protection Orders for Dog Control, a sealed order for dogs on leads by direction came into force with effect from 1st October 2017.  The order requires a person to put any dog in their charge on a lead if requested to do so by an authorised officer.  Failure to comply with the order will result in a Fixed Penalty Notice of £100.  This order applies to all public places except the places listed in the schedule at the end of the order. <Public Spaces Protection Order Notice>
